El Comienzo

Photos from my first few hours of wandering in Barcelona– didn’t stumble upon any cool vinerías yet, but that search can wait until I’ve had a but more sleep.

No chance of avoiding the crowd on La Rambla

Much quieter street typical of El Raval.

I happened upon Albert Raurich’s  (the former Chef de Cuisine of El Bulli) new Asian Tapas bar called Dos Palillos when I was walking around.  Its definitely not everywhere that a chef displays his autographed whites in the window to gain customers’ attention!
